Benefit make-up haul

A few days ago, my lovely mum took me out into town as a break from revising and I think it's safe to say, we came back with a lot of make-up!
I'm such a big fan of Benefit, and when I found out that they were doing a 4 for £15 deal on their minis (including a cute makeup bag) I just had to go for it, especially when there was some stuff I've been dying to try out. So, here are a few bits and bobs that I got!

I've only had this for a few days and I'm already completely in love with it. Seriously. I always wondered what all the hype was about it and now I totally get it. It's such a creamy, light formula and blends so nicely. Plus, it has this lovely pink hue to it which has a lovely brightening effect.
One downside is that the full size bottle is pretty expensive at £19.50, but, personally, I may seriously think about getting it as a little seems to go a long way and I can see the big bottle lasting AGES.

Now, normally I'm not a gloss sort of gal, but I've completely fallen for this. So much so that it may convert me from my matte-finish lipsticks! The lovely thing about this gloss is that is doesn't feel sticky, like so many other glosses on the market. It almost feels like velvet on your lips. Also, it's such a gentle, dusty pink colour which is perfect for every day. Again, seriously thinking about getting the full sized version and feel like this is a lot more accessible at £14.50, a bit cheaper than a Mac lippy.

I have to admit, the initial application of this was a bit of a shock as I wasn't expecting it to come out pink! Having said that, as a primer it's FAB. It gives a lovely smooth, even finish and gives you a little glow. However, at £22.50 for a full sized bottle, I'm not sure if I'll invest, but if you order from Benefit regularly online then you can get the tester for free (we like free things do we not?). I feel more applications are needed in order for me to full appreciate it, so watch this space.

After buying Benetint, I thought I should try her little sister Posietint. As an initial reaction- it's a lot brighter than I anticipated. On the brush it looks super bright, barbie pink, but thankfully it dulls in colour when it is on your lips. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't come off easily, which is great for a night out, but sadly it doesn't quite give me the depth of colour I'm used to, and at £24.50, I don't think I'll be buying it in full. But, I'm definitely willing to try Posiebalm. I feel like I'm more likely to use this, as it is in stick form, and is a fair bit cheaper.

So, not only did I have a little visit to Boots, but also the MAC counter. About a week ago, I ran out of my absolute favorite foundation from Bobbi Brown. I was gutted as it had lasted me around nine months (I know!) and desperately needed a new one. Sadly, Bobbi Brown had run out of my colour so I decided to go check out MAC as I had heard really good things about the Studio Fix foundation. I am so glad I did. This foundation has everything I would ever want and more. Not only does it match my skin tone exactly, but it gives a smooth, velvet finish which makes you feel like you're not wearing anything! Also, it contains SPF 15, which will come in handy over the coming summer months. Although, it was on the expensive side, I feel that it is worth it, and is a fair bit cheaper than my old Bobbi Brown.

So, there we go! Just a little review of a few bits and bobs. Let me know if there are any bits you would recommend, or would like me to review. x

P.S. I was not paid to review these products, the comments are just my honest opinion.
