A treat with Jo Malone

So, this is another collab with my gorgeous girl Ellie, from petiteelliee.com. I just adore this girl so much, and I just have so much love for her, so please go share the love and go check out her post too!

For her birthday, the darling Ellie got a very kind invitation from the lovely Jo Malone and was kind enough to invite me and another girlfriend along!

I cannot explain to you how much I adore Jo Malone, from the boutique, to the scents- everything just seems so serine and calm. Very relaxing. We also did a fair bit of shopping- a shopping haul will be up soon!

So for this "pamper treat"  we were able to choose our favorite scent, which the whole session would be based around. Both of us ending up going for the ever lovely Peony and Blushed Suede range. I just love how flirty and fresh and floral it is, absolutely perfect for this time of year. I would highly recommend testing it out if you have never tried it, I'm just so in love with it. Anyway, back to the pamper part, this lovely lady progressed to wash our arms with their lovely body and hand wash, and then massaged both their body cream and hand lotion in on our hands and arms. To finish off, she spritzed us with the matching cologne for an extra layer of scent. We came out smelling amazing, to say the least. I would urge you to go book yourself in for one of these sessions as I came out feeling so relaxed, perfect for when you're in the middle of exams!

For my makeup I kept it simple.
For my base I used Benefit's "That Gal" brightening primer and MAC's Studio Finish Fluid foundation. I used my Real Techniques stippling brush to apply my foundation as I just love how it creates such a smooth finish, without any brush streaks that you may get when using a standard foundation brush.
I used my new Goof Proof eyebrow pencil, again from Benefit. It creates a really lovely, full finish and matches my colour so well. I also used Ciate X Olivia Palmero's lipstick in the shade Truffle.
To finish off my look I applied some of Benefit's High Beam to my cheek bone and eyebrow bones, and paired it with Bobbi Brown's Brightening Brick in Pastel Peach to give a summery glow and sheen.

When it comes to my outfit- it is all from River Island, I didn't realise until half way through the day! The long crochet top was from last year's SS15 range, and my jeans were in the winter sale (I like a good bargain, then again- who doesn't?).

As always, hope you enjoyed this little post and please feel free to leave any comments! A big thank you to the ever gorgeous Ellie from petiteelliee.com, for both the wonderful invite and for the collab. Please, please, make sure you go check out her post too and give her some love from me. x

Stay tuned, as a few more posts will be up soon! x
