June Favorites

So the lovely month of June has surpassed us, and while I am sad about this, because I do love the start of summer as it isn't crazy hot (as I get sun burnt super easily). But I have to admit that I am glad we are now in July as this means no more exams or college and hopefully the start of what will be a great summer.

During the course of June I have tried an awful lot of new things, be it makeup, skincare, hair care, food. All sorts! But I thought it would be nice to just write a little post for you all about the things I have really been loving over the past month.

When it comes to beauty, there is a fair bit I am seriously liking, so bare with me. So at the start of June I finally got my hands on the Real Techniques Expert Face brush and have been obsessed with it ever since. I just love how it makes my foundation look so flawless and how it doesn't need that much foundation to cover my whole face- would definitely recommend if you don't already have it.

Next is Benefit's new Goof Proof brow pencil. Although I have mentioned it in some other posts over the past few weeks, I really felt that it deserved a place in my June favourites. I won't bore you too much with this one as I feel I have rambled on about it a fair bit in other posts! But it really is worth the hype.

If I could put the whole of Estee Lauder into this post, I'm pretty sure I would. But I can't (sadly), so I will just stick with the piece I have been using most of theirs recently which is the Limited Edition All Over Shimmer. What I like about this compact is that it almost acts as a highlighter and bronzer in one, which I feel is perfect for summer and will look even better when I have more colour on my little pale cheeks. I'm also a huge fan of the packaging of this range. I mean the gold and black/ navy just looks so chic and sophisticated. Makes me fell all grown up.

When it comes to fragrances, I have completely fallen for Jo Malone's Peony and Blush Suede cologne. If you have read some posts that went up earlier on in the month, you would have read that me and some girlfriends went for a lovely pamper treat at Jo Malone, and this is where I fell in love with this scent. Although I only currently have a tester of it, I need to get a bigger bottle asap as I feel this is one of those scents that just won't get boring.

I am a pretty big fan of skincare and bath & body stuff, so there are a few bits I felt I should tell you guys about. If you have been living under a rock for the past month and a half, Zoella has a new beauty range called "Sweet Inspirations". I love the entire range, but the body cream in particular. I have been applying it morning and night for the past month and just can't get enough of it. It really does leave you skin feeling so soft and the smell is just so yummy.

Also in the skincare category is this new coffee scrub called Scrub Love. My friend Ellie, who I am sure you all know very well by now, got my onto this and I am so glad she did. As you all probably know by now, I love coffee. And I love coffee scrub. What I love about Scrub Love is that it really does make your skin feel and look amazing (what's even better, it smells like jaffa cakes)! I have struggled with spots, blemishes and what not for a fair few years now and have noticed a huge improvement in the texture and tone of my skin since using coffee scrub more regularly. If you have never tried coffee scrub, and are a bit apprehensive on buying a pack, I have written a DIY post about making your own, if you feel you like it I would really recommend trying out some of the many packs/ brands that are out there.

Clothing wise, I can't get enough of bardou tops, and I feel that the rest of the blogging community is probably the same! I just love the whole Audrey Hepburn vibe that it brings, I am a huge fan of her and would probably say she is my fashion idol. Dorothy Perkins has some really lovely versions of the bardou in store at the moment, and I am really loving their stripey and black one (surprise, surprise!).

As always, I would love to hear about all the things you are loving at the moment, love getting new ideas of things to try! x
