Mummy/ daughter day out

I am so close to my mum, and have been for as long as I can remember. I love her and love spending time with her, as she is honestly my best friend (cheesy, but true). She has these little spurts of inspiration, where she fancies going out and visiting somewhere new, or somewhere we haven't been to in ages (rather than just town).

So, the other day she had this lovely little idea of popping up to Salisbury, which is a lovely old city about 45 minutes away from us. We were SO lucky with the weather, it was so sunny and warm.

After a lovely chilled lunch, and shopping of course, we came across a National Trust house, one of which my mum had been wanting to visit for ages, called Mompresson House. I am a huge fan of old manor houses and estates and this one was no exception. It was a fairly big house but so well proportioned, the sort of house you could so easily (and happily) live in.

When it comes to my outfit, I went with something I knew would be comfortable but still look cute. I wore a comfy grey jersey dress- I am really getting into these because they are just really easy to style and can be worn for any occasion. Footwear wise, I got these super cute, faux leather white trainers a couple of weeks ago and just can't stop wearing them- they are so comfortable. They sort of mimic Stan Smiths (but these were only £18!) and look so cute paired with a dress.
