July Favourites

Where did July go? Seriously, I feel like I've blinked and missed a whole month!
I think during July, the majority of my favourites have been makeup or beauty related, and I'm not sure coffee can be in there? (if so- coffee is definitely up there for me as I started a new job!).

I have very recently got Makeup Revolution's Golden Sugar blush palette, I've heard such amazing things about it and KNEW I had to try it out- and for only £8 it was a steal. It's amazing quality and all the blushes are so pigmented and blend so nicely. It's just such a pretty palette (and so Instagram worthy), I've been obsessed about it, even though I only got it towards the end of July. Planning to go grab their Golden Sugar- Rose Gold and Blush Goddess Palettes soon! (watch this space).

Now, the next one may seem like a bit of an odd one, but it's been well loved and used over the past month- Bio Oil. I recently burnt myself badly on my arm while taking a baking tray out of the oven and I really didn't want to wait months of end for it to heal and end up with a big scar. My Mum then suggested I try out some Bio Oil, and surely enough it has helped it heal up so quickly and I can tell there will be either a very faint scar or none at all!

If you have been following me for a while now, be it on Instagram or on here, you may have noticed that I went to Paris for a weekend with my boyfriend- I didn't do nearly enough shopping. But, with the little shopping I did do, I finally got my hands on Nars' Orgasm blush. I feel that the beauty and blogging world has been obsessed with this blush for ages and I can tell you there is a reason why it's considered America's favourite blush shade. It has a lovely pink base with orange/ peach undertones, which looks lovely on any skin tone. As you can guess, I've been wearing a lot of blush during July...

While away, I also got some jeans in Zara. You may have already seen them in a could of posts that have already gone up. I have been wearing them non-stop since getting back. They're so comfortable and easy to wear and I love the fact that they're slightly high-waisted, I don;t have any other jeans like that! Although they were on the slightly more pricey side, I honestly do believe it was worth it when considering how much I have worn them. Zara always does lovely pieces which are very good quality, these jeans are no exception.

Continuing the theme of clothing, I just have to mention my white faux leather trainers I got (as mentioned in my previous post). Although I got them right at the end of July, I instantly fell in love with them. They are so comfortable and easy to wear, and just look so cute paired with a dress or jeans, can literally go with almost everything!

My last piece is something very new to me. Comfort Zone's Fruity Peel Body scrub. While it sounds like your average body exfoliator, I promise you it isn't. Firstly, you put it onto dry skin and work it into your legs, arms or where ever, like a body lotion or gel. You can then begin to feel it lift up all the dead skin cells and you just rinse yourself down in the shower. It leaves your skin feeling absolutely INCREDIBLE. No word of a lie. My mum got it for me to try out after a spa day she recently went on (so I have a feeling it may be on the more expensive side of the spectrum), but I am really considering doing some research to find another bottle of it- if you can find it, try it!

As always, I was not asked or paid to write about these products. All opinions are my own and are completely honest. If there are any products you would like me to try out and review for you, please feel free to let me know! x
