August Favourites

I know we are now getting on into september now, but I thought I may as well write an August post, just so you all know what I've been loving the past month. It's been a busy month, full of big changes and exciting adventures, and, of course, new bits and bobs! I've been lucky enough to go out on a few good shopping trips over the past month and have absolutely fallen in loved with so much, so let's get into it!

First product isn't new on the market, nor is it new to me. But, it is the Zoella Double Creme body cream. I got this when the new range first came out and loved it them. It seems I have rediscovered it, especially during August, as it has helped to keep my skin really moisturised and soft, which is what I need after sitting out in the sun for hours on end!

Again, the next, from her Sweet Inspirations range, is not new BUT is new to me. It is her Sweet Inspirations Body Mist. I love this stuff. Seriously. It is just so so easy to wear and smells really feminine and delicate, and is just a perfect everyday sort of scent.

While staying on the drug store bits, I have also be absolutely loving Loreal's Triple Active Moisturising Gel cream (for normal to combination skin). I have combination/ oil skin and for years have been trying to persevere with cream moisturisers, and couldn't figure out why my skin kept breaking out- it was the moisturiser. This is a little tip that I picked up from Laura Lee, she has explained(in a fair few of her videos) that creams are oil based, hence why they make us combination/ oily skinned people break out. I thought I would try a gel one, as it is water based, and I don't think I will be looking back any time soon. This has been amazing at keeping my face looking fresh and hydrated, and I used it NON-STOP while on holiday. I just can't fault it.

The next two aren't likely to surprise many of you, as I'm sure the world and her mother are talking about them! They are Garnier's Skin Active Oil-Infused Micellar Water and Collection's Lasting perfecting 16 hour wear concealer (light of course because I'm a pale bunny!). Both of these are completely and utterly worth the hype and I would say, if you only go out and get two things from this post- let them be these. Not only are these products that actually WORK, but the price tag is incredibly. they are roughly £4 each, this is not to be sniffed at. The only problem? trying to find a store that has them in stock! They sell out quickly for a reason ladies!

Now, when I think of H&M I think of a clothes shop, but I have to bring in their nail varnishes. My darling Muma brought me back a few of their polishes from a day trip to London, and oh my word I am in love. My favourite is 'Gilt Trip'. It is this gorgeous iridescent gold polish, with a hint of silver. The formula dries really quickly and evenly, and you don't need tons of coats as it goes on really nicely! I will definitely be going out to try some different colours.

Lastly, but by no means least, is a little bit more expensive. It is the Zoeva Cocoa Blend eye shadow palette. I mentioned this in my High-end Beauty Haul (if you haven't seen it, go check it out). I just love this palette, and feel that it is truely worth the £18. Like I said in my last post, this is cheap in the world of palettes, but I promise the quality is just amazing.

Now, I know that this month's favourites was largely beauty based, but I am more than sure that September will bring more variety as I will be off to Uni and will be missing/ appreciating a winder range of things! In the mean time, make sure you're all up to date as a whole load of new posts will be your way soon, and please let me know of any products you love or want me to try out too!
