Winter Casual | Outfit of The Day

When it comes to Winter, I'm all about neutral tones and colours, even more so than I normally am! So when I went to go out for lunch with my friend Izzy, you can read all about our meal here, I wanted to keep it cool and casual- while staying warm at the same time!

I live in my jeans in the winter, so I opted for my black Hollister jeans, as they're just so comfy and go with everything. I matched that with a long white sleeved top from Missguided. I'm a huge fan of plain, simple tops as you can wear them wherever and whenever.

I then threw on my cosy camel coat from Marks and Spencer, they have some lovely, classic pieces in that are amazing quality.
To finish off the look, I wore my cherry tartan scarf, my leather and suede boots and my favourite John&Mary bag!

I have to admit, I have always loved Izzy's style. She's so cute and quirky, and that suits her perfectly. For our little day out she wore what looked like the most snuggly coat you could ever see! She then matched it with a beautiful ruffled blouse and black jeans. She too opted for a lovely bright scarf, but this time it was a gorgeous burnt orange- the colour just looks so lovely on her! When it comes to makeup, I like to keep it really simple and natural for my everyday winter look.
For my base, I mixed one pump of No7 Skin Illuminator with one pump of my Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation onto a stippling brush, as I love how smooth it makes my foundation look. By adding an illuminating base to it, it gives my skin a lovely, subtle glow without looking too much! I added concealer under my eyes using my collection lasting perfection concealer in fair. I then set that all with my Rimmel London Matte Maker powder. I added a little bit of blush, to add a little more colour back into my pale little face. For this, I used Benefit's Rockstar blush and then highlighted with Soft and Gentle.
I kept my eyes super simple and only added a couple of coats of L'oreal's Million Lash mascara.
I finished off the look with Mac's Velvet Teddy as I love that little nod to the 90's while keeping with the lovely nude trend (it's probably my favourite trend yet)!

A huge thank you to Izzy, was such a wonderful day! Be sure to check out her blog at  xx
