January Birchbox

I have been intrigued by beauty boxes for months and was scouting out for one I felt would suit me best. I came across Birchbox, which is a much-loved subscription and thought I would give it a go!
When I was signing up, they had this deal where you could get two boxes for the price of one! This meant that the boxes were only £5 each- bargain.

The main January box comes in the cutest box. It's white and yellow and is focused on happiness in the new year, this is such a cute idea.
So what do you get?
First off, you get a full sized hand cream - Emily loves hand cream... from Merci Handy. This stuff is unlike any other hand cream I've tried, and I've tried a lot. It's very lightweight and has these little beads which hold extra little bursts of moisture! And the smell is just so soothing.
There is also a full-size Soigne nail lacquer, mine came in this gorgeous pale pink shade called 'lemonade Rose', which will be perfect for the spring!

You then get a little mini tub of Vita Coco coconut oil. I'm so happy to have this as I love putting it in my hair overnight, or for a few hours, before I have a shower as it gives your hair a little extra TLC that we all know it needs from time to time.

Keeping on the theme of haircare, you also get a mini 'clarifying shampoo' from Kebelo.I have to admit I haven't heard of this brand before butI'm super excited to try it out.
And last, but by no means least, you get a mini Lord & Berry 'Conceal-it' concealer crayon. Sadly this is too dark for me at the moment, but looks to be the perfect shade for when I have more of a tan!

Right, so there's the main January box. But what was in the other box? Since I was a new subscriber, they sent me one of their past boxes, and most loved boxes, which was their November box and was a collaboration with Tatler Magazine! I. Am. In. Love. I could have been just sent the box and I'd be pretty happy- it's SO pretty.

I was so excited opening it as there were some products in there I have always wanted to try. First being a full sized midi Wet Brush! So excited to try this as I struggle to brush my hair because it's super thick and curly.

There's also a full-size High Definition Brow pencil. This pencil is so gorgeous and it the perfect shade for my brows, which is hard for me to find. You then get three minis: a mini NUXE Creme Prodigieuse, which is suppose to be great if you've had a bit of a late night and your skin's showing it.

You also get some essential oil from Darphin and some 'lip tar' from OCC- really excited to try this as it's said to help keep your lippie on all day- who doesn't want that?

And there we have it! Hope you've enjoyed reading about what's in this months Birchbox. Let me know if you're subscribed to any beauty boxes and what you think!

  1. You received two boxes at once? How cool is that?! I had a subscription on two boxes last year but ended both of them since I wasn't really impressed with their products. x
