January Favourites

So it's that time of the month again- favourites time! I will admit that January has felt like it's dragged a bit, but at the same time, it's been so crazy busy. So I haven't had that much time to try tonnes of new stuff but will share what I've been loving all the same.

The first is a new lipstick that you've probably seen in a few of my Instagram posts- Mac's Twig. I always thought that this would be too dark for me but I love that fact that it's slightly pinky, meaning it's different to my other nude(ish) lipsticks.

The next is Soap & Glory's Hocus Pocus (I should note that I bought this with my own money before I started working with them). I really love mixing this in with my foundation to give a bit more of a glow to my tired winter skin. It doesn't make you glittery or anything too out there, it's just a really lovely glow. It could also be a bit of a dupe for Becca's Back Light Primer! They do pretty much the same thing, except Soap & Glory's is a fraction of the price- win-win situation, don't you think?

A fairly recent addition to my makeup collection is HD's Brow Definer. I was tossing up whether or not to put this in as I only got it about 10 days ago but I am in love! It's the perfect colour for me, which I find so hard to find, and makes my eyebrows look so put together but so natural at the same time.

Now, I think we all know that I'm a bit of a body butter junky in the winter, so I have been seriously loving Soap & Glory's Righteous Butter. I've always loved this, maybe because it smell so blooming good or maybe because it is so rich and hydrating? Who knows, both are pretty good reasons to love something. They've recently come out with the Diamond Edition which has little bits of sparkle to help illuminate dull looking skin- perfect for your legs and collarbone- and will probably be of good use to many of us during these dark, cold months. I will admit that it gets my hands covered in sparkle, but I can't deny how hydrating and long lasting it is. And it being covered in sparkle really a bad thing?

Next, is probably not going to be much of a surprise, and this isn't new, but my favourite fragrance has been Chloe Roses. I have been so incredibly in love with this since my lovely Dad brought it back from duty-free for me a few months back, but I am 90% sure this is going to remain my staple for ages. I won't bore you all again with how much I love it, just know that I do.

We all know that I am weird about brushing my hair. By "weird" I mean I generally don't brush it. BUT, and this is a big but- I have found a brush I like! My Mama got me a Tangle Teezer for Christmas, yes I know I'm late to the party with this one, but I can easily say that it's the only brush I have ever enjoyed. I normally brush my hair before washing it, but it gets the tangles and knots out so effortlessly that I don't mind brushing it!

And there we have it! My January favourites. Be sure to let me know what you've been loving in this month of January- have you found any new products? Leave any recommendations down below!

* I am supported by Soap & Glory but all opinions are completely honest and always my own. I wouldn't back products I didn't believe in x
