Statement Florals

I have been loving florals a lot recently, which is odd because I'm not normally one for patterns. But since Christmas, and since my parents got me these amazing Topshop jeans I'm sure you've all seen by now. I've been living in them. I never thought I would opt for mom jeans, but they're so comfortable and 'on trend', so I may be a bit of a convert.
So I thought, since I feel big floral piece are going to be big this year, I would do a post as to how I like to style them for everyday wear!
When it comes to me floral mom jeans from Topshop, I feel like they need to be the focal point of the outfit- so everything else needs to stay plain and neutral. So I like to pair them with this chunky knit cream jumper from H&M because it's winter and I would like to be warm! Or, if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll pop on my Red mock neck Topshop Jumper (I got this in the sale for a bargain!). The Red goes so well with the flowers on the jeans and brings a bit of colour to a grey day.

Since my top half is a light colour, I want my shoes to be as simple as well.I often opt for my white sneakers from New Look, they're so comfy but tie the outfit together really nicely.

I really love this sort of outfit for this time of the year, it's in keeping with the whole "florals for Spring" idea, but it still keeps you nice and warm when those chilly winds come in!
