Let's Get Glowing

Summer is the time of year we all want that glow. So whether you need to glow in a rush, or have time to spend, I thought I'd share my favourite products to help me have a bit more colour for summer!

Normally, my go-to for a bit of a glow is fake tan, but sometimes I don't have the time to let my tan develop- because I'm forgetful and forget I have an event! This is where the Glow Getter is perfect. Literally, the sort of thing where you can spray, give it a quick blend in with a mitt and you're ready to go!

Because I'm a bit funny about putting fake tan on my face, no one wants the orange streak by the hairline do they?, I like to bronze up my face. Naturally, I'm very pale, so I find it hard to find a bronzer that doesn't look orange or too dark for me. The lovely ladies over at Soap & Glory sent over their lovely Solar Powder. It's got two shades, one light and one slightly darker, which means there's a shade for when I'm pale and one for when I have a bit more colour on me! Yay!

If I'm heading somewhere I might want more of a glow, I might go for a highlighter and a shimmery bronzer. If shimmer is your thang, then be sure to check out the highlight and sculpt sticks! I love a bit of Glow all out on my cheekbones and top it off with a bit of Hocus Pocus. For my darker skinned ladies, check out the Wonderbronze- You will be GLOWING!

I don't know about you, but whenever I'm in the sun, my face is the last thing to tan, so I end up with a very pale face compared to a nice bronzed neck and body. But, as I said, I'm not fond of fake tanning my face... I need a little help. But what to do when you're having a pool or beach day on holiday, or merely want the "no makeup, but still bronzed" look? Welcome, The Glow Job! Those clever lot at Soap & Glory have made a moisturiser that gives your face a glow while keeping it hydrated! I will admit, I was a tad put off when I first tried it, I was worried I was going to look orange and it seems to change colour as you rub it into your face- ah! But thankfully, it blends out to look natural and add a little bit of colour, without looking orange, and gives a lovely healthy glow- yay!
