New statement pieces

As promised, in my post earlier on in the week, a post about the new fashion pieces I've picked up recently and some new statement fragrances, to help finish off any outfit.

Floppy hats seem to big this summer, so I thought I would pick up this cutie! It was only £12, which I think is good for a hat like this, as some can be in the hundreds. I think it looks a lot more expensive than it was so I can look stylish while being sun safe. A win-win really!

Gingham has been HUGE this spring/ summer, but I'm not normally a fan of the traditional black and white. But, I came across this mini range in New Look, with red and white and I thought it was adorable. Yes, some people may. think that it looks like a table cloth but I think they're really cute, and perfect for a summery, hot holiday. Pair it with a white crop top and some cute sandals and there you have it.

Next is one of my favourite pieces I've picked in a very long time. It's this striped one piece swimming costume from Hollister. It was more than I was originally willing to spend on a one piece at £29, but with student discount, I got it down to £24, which isn't too bad in hindsight. It fits like a dream. I wouldn't normally class myself as a one piece kind of gal, but again, they are big this year, and they can be really flattering. You'll probably see this all over my Instagram by the end of y holiday.

Frills are also huge right now, and I love white so this gorgeous linen blouse from Zara is an instant classic for me! I love how you can so easily dress it up and down, and I can even wear it in the office so definitely a workhorse in my wardrobe. Think this would look super cute with my camel trousers and Steve Madden sandals.

Now, I think we all know I'm a huge fan of perfumes and fragrances, so am really excited to chat with you about Clive Christian- a luxury perfumers. I find that fragrances can really change up an outfit without us even knowing it, and make us all feel so much more put together when little effort has been put in. Their fragrances are by no means, but the scents and choice of scents are divine and would make a wonderful gift for that special someone, or a very nice treat to yourself. I'm a huge fan of floral scents for summer, with Marc Jacobs' Daisy Dream normally being my go to, but Clive Christian's 1872, the feminine edition is stunning. With a base of gorgeous roses and violets, it makes it such a feminine fragrance (as the name would suggest). But it also has a really lovely, fresh, citrus note in the form of bergamot which makes it so lovely and summer. Perfect to finish off your outfit for a lovely summery alfresco dinner.

And there we have it, my statement staples for the summer holiday season. A big thank you to Clive Christian for working with me on this post. Be sure to let me know what fragrances and statement pieces you're loving at the moment.
