What are you thinking?

The way you think, and your overall attitude can have a huge effect on a lot of what you do. Some may think that the two aren't connected, but I can assure you that they are.

I recently read two books: The Secret and #GIRLBOSS, which has already been mentioned in a post, both on a recommendation. I can easily say that I would recommend these two books to any young man or woman (hoping the have an open mind). The Secret goes on about positive thinking in, I guess, a more spiritual way as it talks about the universe and how if you think something it will come to you if this isn't you sort of thang, don't sweat it, #GIRLBOSS will be more up your street. #GIRLBOSS on the other hand, although it makes reference to The Secret, says that your mind set and your work ethic goes hand in hand- if you want something, go out, work your bottom off, and don't stop until you achieve your goals. This is something I am a huge advocate for.

9 times out of 10, a positive outlook on what your goals are will mean you will put in the time and effort it takes to get what you want. If you're excited and passionate about a subject or career or anything, and you want to do well at it, I am 99% sure you will purely because you enjoy it and want to put the time and effort into it. I would always say to anyone to reach high as I truly believe you'll either get there or somewhere very near it. Yes, some things life can throw curve balls at us, and they used to get me down a lot, but I now use them as learning curves and put it all down to experience. I am all for having a little cry and a moment, but I'm learning that you shouldn't dwell on things for too long.

I never want to be the sort of person who does something half-heartedly, it's not worth the time, effort, or in some cases, the money. I am all for working your way up and what not, we all have those summer jobs or weekend jobs which are a necessity at the time, but with a bigger goal in mind. And I guess I hope that you guys will be the same. When I was younger, and sometimes even now almost at 20, I have people telling me I can't do something because it's 'unrealistic' in their mind, but this makes me want to work 10X harder than I was to prove them wrong.

Although I'm not 100% sure if any of this makes sense, I guess it's more of me rambling on a little, but I hope you take something from this. Be it having a more positive outlook on things or maybe to give you that little nudge to get going and working towards whatever it is your goal is. Hard work and positivity never go unnoticed x.
